Witchs Sabbath 2005

I thought this would be a typical B rated horror movie – the usual jacked up no-plot story, poor acting, and cheap special effects that us B rated horror movie fans live for. I was right, except this was very bad in every which way possible. Four witches entice innocent souls for sacrifice by brutally slashing, dismembering and decapitating them in the process.

The director probably never saw an ounce of blood in his life because unfortunately everything is so obviously fake, especially the cool aid water that is supposed to be blood. Even the woman’s breasts look fake, which isn’t such a bad thing. There is a lot of nudity and soft porn situations and even a cameo by Ron Jeremy, but these do not save this mediocre low budget mess.

Resident Evil Apocalypse

If you went into this movie expecting anything other than a fast paced action flick then no wonder you were disappointed. Action films are notorious for ill-fated scripts and bad dialogue. This film was made for 2 reasons, to appeal to the fans of the video game and to appeal to those who enjoy action movies.

I am not a fan of the video game but enjoyed the movie from a strictly entertainment point of view. The movie left me with a sense excitement due to the almost non-stop action and faced paced script. Yeah the plot itself doesn’t hold much weight but hey you don’t see a movie called Resident Evil expecting an Oscar-worthy performance. This movie is  full of lines so corny they will make you laugh and at times the bad acting will make you itch.  Aside from the craptastic acting we do have boobies and we do have blood and hey theres zombies too.  Not a true horror movie in my eyes but it does have its merits.
